The DDI Alliance has published SDTL version 1.0 for a two month comment period. See https://ddi-alliance.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DDI4/pages/1120370729/SDTL+Review . SDTL (Structured Data Transformation Language) was created by the C2Metadata Project as a way to represent data transformation commands from the most common statistical analysis packages. The DDI Alliance, which maintains DDI and other related standards, has adopted SDTL to provide a machine actionable language for describing variable-level provenance. The DDI Alliance will maintain SDTL after the C2Metadata Project ends.
